As a family who practices minimalism, constantly editing what has made ( or is trying to make its way into our home) can make the holidays a little tricky. While we love to make memories with our kids and create traditions we also want to stay true to our mantra. Here are some ideas on how we decorate for Valentine’s Day and how we celebrate with our three tiny sweethearts.

Each year (once a month) I try to take simple at home photos of the kids, these years are fleeting and it‘s nice to capture the moments without breaking the bank. During the holidays I try to encorporate something seasonal without overwhelming the subject.

We don’t have the means to gut this bathroom completely so we plan on keeping things where they are and making an impact with color, materials and the elements of design.

It’s no wonder that some of us may feel stagnant in life when, truthfully, our bodies aren’t quite ready to get moving. Given the natural order and the rhythms of nature itself, to me, it’s clear that winter was made for rest.
